The Royal Seal of Approval
Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton was reportedly seen
buying The Cone in Ann Summers Soho, London just before Christmas.
Apparently bought with a sexy Santa outfit, it looks like Prince
William was in for quite a treat over Christmas! Let's hope The
Cone got a Royal Seal of approval!

The Cone Girls Come in America
Our trip started in a snowy Las Vegas for the 2007 Adult Entertainment
Expo (who knew it snowed in the desert). Thousands of fans dribbled
over some of their favourite adult industry stars at the Sands Expo
Centre. We hung around the trade area dressed in tight little Cone
T-shirts with our fantastic US distributors ECN and Liberator.
The Cone (not surprisingly) generated a magnetic attraction to industry
professionals from all over the world. Hundreds of US retailers flocked
to view The Cone at its debut US trade show appearance. Those of you in
the USA should start to see The Cone popping up in many of your favourite
stores and website including Good Vibrations, Adam & Eve, Babeland and
Hustler to name but a few!
We then jumped city to a chilly San Francisco visiting our first ever
stockists, the wonderful Blowfishies! (www.blowfish.com).
The Cone Girls hit the airwaves on our second Blowfish podcast interview.
Listen to our interview
on Cones, Meatloaf and Butt Bling.
After visiting a few fab Cone retailers we got stuck in the middle of
a high speed chase across the Bay Bridge with over 25 cop cars and
three helicopters, we later realised they weren’t after our Cones,
but in fact were chasing a dangerous criminal. To celebrate our freedom,
we rode the tram up and down the line three times whilst ringing the bell
followed by a night of pomegranate mojitos and drag queens at the local bar.
Just 3 days later we find ourselves on a plane to Atlanta, home of
www.liberator.com
and the Coca-Cola museum. Boy these guys and gals know how to have fun...
After a tour of their factory floor (the size of a couple of football pitches)
we find ourselves whisked off to strip club. My my my, who knew men in thongs
could stir up so much entertainment! In the interest of fairness, we slipped
over to the ‘men’s area’ only to be escorted off the premises for dancing
too sexily and distracting the crowd. We managed to get away with the dollar
bill shoved down our tops though! After a much needed Sunday off relaxing
with Jay from Liberator, we set sail for New York (metaphorically of course
– we just got on a plane).
So we landed in The Big Apple - sick from some new bug spreading across
hotels and cruise ships. It was an unpleasant few days working in bed with
the shiny lights of Time Square sparkling through our windows – all the
fun just out of reach. We recovered just in time to see our third and final
US distributor in New Jersey the fantastic guys at East Coast News and a
few fantastic retail stores, before flying home for a nice cuppa tea.
The Cone Hits Breakfast TV
The Cone has endured an exhaustive assortment of press activity in the past
couple of months, culminating with a buzz on This Morning on ITV and you can
catch the clip here.
Sexpert Donna Dawson and a lady who felt that she did
not have the right to feel sexy, were guests on Fern Britton and Phillip
Schofield’s show. Donna concluded that she thought orgasms were guaranteed
with The Cone and we cannot foresee who will argue with her.
Sue Johanson Reviews The Cone – 3 Times!
Sue Johanson is one of the US leading figures in sexual health, lifestyle
and trends. The Cone has already appeared twice on her show Talk Sex and
her sex-toy researcher predicts that it will be the most talked about vibrator
of the year. Her tester was blown away with our product too. Sue Johanson
then sung our praises again on Playboy Radio. We love you Sue!
The Cone Launch Party
A launch party can have many objectives, but what was of primary importance
for the revellers, and indeed the organisers, was to invoke ideas of a good
time to be had. The doors opened and Pacha London had unearthed burlesque
madness that stimulated erotic thoughts. Pink cocktails in Martini glasses,
bottled lagers from the continent and tall spirits with mixers fuelled benevolent
smiles, pie-eyed merriment and motor-mouthing. Cone-fever had swept over this
pink, palatial, honky-tonk juice-joint. Effervescent demeanours from the lovely
Trixibelle attracted attention due to the spanker wielded to her right palm and
her rapid succession of ‘spank-you for coming’s’. VIP’s comprised of a presence
from This Morning, Scarlet Magazine, Journalists from Cosmo, girls from Ann Summers,
flamboyantly dressed dancers, an MD with a glamorous 50’s haircut and the fantastic
Nicky Clarke. Meticulously mixed house-music complimented the décor, with the
Soul Avengerz and Alistair Albrecht presenting the release of Read My Lips
featuring Abigail Bailey. Funky4Love who co-hosted the night and host Pacha
London on the first Friday of every month did us proud. Those dressed up
all fancy had been rewarded with goody-bags based on the nice ‘n’ naughty.
(Thank you to our sponsors; Ann Summers and Durex)... All in all,
a fine-tasting mish-mash of the debonair and the debauched, created what
can only be described as a a night to be remembered by all.
See our funky
video clip (turn off the website music first as otherwise you’ll be mixing
like a bad DJ). Or view the
launch party image library.
The Cone Launches on The Jonathan Ross Show
The Cone received raucous acclaim on The Jonathan Ross Show. BBC1 viewers
were treated to an entertaining feature devoted entirely to The Cone for
being the latest in ‘auto-freak technology’. Jonathan Ross couldn’t resist
The Cone’s charm and alleged ‘If that doesn’t get you ladies you’ve been dead
for seven years’, before he proudly, publicly avowed that he was taking it home.
The Cone even outdid Jonathan’s wardrobe in terms of boldness and extravagance.
Because of the BBC’s copyright issues, we’re not allowed to show the clip, but
we do have a
transcript of the show,
and it’s well worth a read if you fancy a giggle.
